About us:
Higginbotham Funeral Home is one of thirteen funeral homes that make up Higginbotham Funeral Homes of Texas, Inc., a family corporation serving Central Texas since 1881. Our funeral directors and staff that work for us joined this profession to serve others. They have an innate desire to guide people through a journey of unknowns.
The loss of a loved one can leave you with a lot of unanswered questions, feelings of stress and anxiety and grief that makes events difficult to handle. The experienced funeral director at Higginbotham Funeral Home will guide you through the aspects of the funeral service with compassion, dignity and respect. Our answering service will assist all calls after hours or while we are out of the office. They can contact the Funeral Director by phone at all hours if needed.

What about Pre-Planning or Pre-Funding our funeral?
Pre Arrangement
The most important reason for pre-arranging your funeral is to spare your family the many decisions that need to be made at an emotionally difficult time. During this stressful time, reason is often obscured by emotions that are uncontrollable. This can result in emotional overspending and other regretful decisions.
Saving Money
By pre-paying your services and merchandise, you are freezing the price of the funeral, protecting you from the rising costs. These funds are held under the laws and supervision of the State of Texas.
Peace of Mind
You often have special wishes concerning your funeral arrangements. What songs you want to be played or whether you want the casket open or closed are just a few or the many decisions that can be decided by you in advance and will give you peace of mind that all the decisions concerning your funeral are complete. The burden of making those final decisions will not be left to your family. You have already made them.
We do ask that you call and schedule an appointment with the funeral director or pre-need specialist.
