The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Debra Childers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

She prayed for so many and touched so many lives.

As I think about Deb's life, I'm so thankful to have known her. She was one of my Cub Scout mothers over 35 years ago when our sons were young, and always willing to help. We went to church together for almost 25 years. She was a blessing to our body and I can still see her sweet smile and hear her sweet laugh. She worked at the school here and ALWAYS was faithful to pray for the kiddos, parents, teachers and all involved in any way there. But one of the things that blessed me the most about her was her faith in God. She was a volunteer on our local ambulance service for many years. Through all the months and months of almost weekly midnight emergency runs for my mother, Deb was usually one of the attendants. As soon as she got there she ALWAYS stopped, laid hands on my mother and prayed for her...out loud...and the peace of God would come. She did the same for me the several times I needed an ambulance. It breaks my heart that she is gone. She touched so many lives, was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by this community.  I am so thankful to know she's safe and pain free in the arms of Jesus now.
